LNP Launch Palletstorage.ie Fiesta Championship

As part of our management and promotion of the Mondello Park Fiesta racing classes, we negotiate sponsorship for the championships. Having finalised a deal with Palletstorage.ie to back the hugely popular Fiesta Zetec series, we decided to do something a bit unusual for the announcement. Wouldn’t be like us, would it?

A long discussion with Barry Rabbitt, who has been in the transport business for years, confirmed what we had hoped. He had a forklift big enough to lift a Fiesta racecar safely. Next port of call was Northside Hyundai dealer Michael Barrable Motors. As well as being friends of ours, the Barrable family are steeped in Motorsport, and Michael returns to the tracks this year in a beautifully prepared Zetec.  Having complimented him on the presentation of his car at a recent test day, we asked if we could use it for a photoshoot. Michael agreed immediately, not even being put off by the subsequent suggestion that we might lift it on a forks for a moment.

Once we arrived, a few safety precautions were put in place and in came the Fiesta. Barry and his brother Shane have many years experience in the transport industry and once they were happy, up she went. Andy from Celtic Photography was also hoisted aloft to get the shots you see here. As ever, the simplest ideas can be the most effective.

The Palletstorage.ie Fiesta Zetec Championship takes place over eight rounds, all at Mondello Park and the opening two rounds are this weekend, but alas, behind closed doors due to government restrictions.
