Leo was MC at the launch of the Irish Rallycross Championship at Mondello Park in February. A large attendance of competitors and media gathered in Mondello Park’s BMW Suite to hear details of the revamped series. Now heavily supported by Mondello Park, the 2019 Championship retains title sponsor Parts For Cars, but also added a host of associate sponsors. Leo interviewed Mondello Park Managing Director Roddy Greene, Motorsport Ireland President John Naylor, Derek Tohil from Parts For Cars and Paul Pascoe from Diamondbrite.

Also on hand was WRC star Craig Breen, who revealed when bring interviewed by Leo, that Rallycross may be one of his options for the coming season. Breen also sampled Derek Tohill’s Fiesta Supercar and brought lucky members of the press for high speed hot laps in the Irish Championship winning machine! LNP also brought Irish Hockey star Nicci Daly to the launch and she was treated to some hot laps with Irish Rallycross Chairman Thomas O’Rafferty in his Honda powered MR-2!
